Olivia Post Surgery (and some from before)

Well, it's been a very good week post surgery for our little one.  She is recovering so well!  We are keeping a close eye on her incisions since the fear of infection is worse for her with no spleen.  One looks a little red, but we're watching it closely.  We haven't left the house since coming home - just to be safe.

We have changed the way we give her pedisure and you know what - we haven't really had a throw up since coming home.  YAY!!!  We don't want to get too excited, but we are so thankful.  We don't know if it's the surgery, the new way of giving her milk (smaller amounts more often) or a combination of both, but we are indeed thankful!

She is 19 lbs now too :).  She is also outgrowing ALL of her 9 month outfits.  We are starting to buy 18 month clothes - I can't believe it!!  Our little pumkin is getting so big!!!

Here are 2 pictures of Olivia since coming home.

Here are some pictures we took last month when my sister was in town.  Olivia was not happy about the photo shoot! :)

She stopped crying as soon as she got to stop posing, but she definitely didn't want to pose on this day.

We couldn't get the sweet smile she gives right after we both kiss her cheeks, but it is precious!  You can almost see it here ;)

An update from the bad blogger!!

Hi all!!  So incredibly sorry it's been over a month since my last post!  Everything has been so very busy.  There is so much to update everyone on.
First, we are moving!!!  We can't really believe it either!  The Lord is leading us to, of all places, Pennsylvania!!!  We will be moving to Downingtown, PA - outside of Philadelphia.  We are moving with my company, Shire, which is located in Wayne, PA.  Danny has secured his job at an office just down the road in King of Prussia, PA (great shopping!!!).  The most exciting  part of this move is that CHOP, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, is one of the top children's hospital in the country.  They are tied for the #1 spot in the country.  Every therapeutic category is ranked in the top 3 in the country and they have an OUTSTANDING cardiac program!  Not only all of that, but they have the only Single Ventricle Heart Program we know of in the country!  They specialize in exactly what Olivia has!!!  How good is our God?!?!  We feel so blessed that she will be in their care for her final heart surgery (not likely to take place before next summer).
We just got home from our house hunting trip and we managed to find a school for Olivia, a home, and a car for me since I will be losing my company car.  Whew!!  What a 72 hour trip.  A special thanks to my mom for going with us to help care for Bing!!!  They were both troopers!

Also, we were just released from Children's Hospital where Olivia had surgery for malrotation of the bowels...  She came through wonderfully!  We so appreciate all the prayers!  This was our first surgery with her and we were SO nervous.  Danny and I cried like babies before we went in Tuesday morning while in the parking deck.  I slept with Bing 2 NIGHTS in the hospital crib!!!  She wouldn't let me put her down so I didn't (and my back knows it :))
I have to tell you all that Bing is really coming out of her shell!!!  She is SO funny and now waves at everyone!  It is so precious! :)

I have tons of pictures and videos to post but I'm at the in-laws now and don't know how to do it.  Hopefully I can get it done this weekend.

I am off the next 2 weeks while Bing recovers and then we will be moving shortly thereafter.  Please continue to pray for our precious little girl - I know God has special plans for her :)
